Here are the highlights of what I learned watching the tutorial:
- To move around use arrow keys
- Text chat prevents you from using the arrow keys
- Clicking with your mouse on a field activates 3D movement
- Local chat window shows you the history of chat
- When someone wants to share a link, you can click directly on that link in the chat window and it will let you open the browser
- You can change your field of view by using the scroll button on your mouse - it's your virtual camera or virtual eyes
- Or you can click on your Avatar and hold down on it with your mouse and it will let you look up and down
- You can use the fly button to fly up and down
- Or E key to go up or Page up button, and C key to go down or Page down button
- The mini-map button brings up a map that shows various regions you are in
- A round circle is for a fellow student who is on the same level as you
- A triangle means they are on a lower or higher level
- A yellow dot means they are your friend
- A different color dot has an 'add as friend' option
- Teleportation is possible, but you can only teleport a friend
- You need to be in Communicate button, Tab: Contacts, choose persons to teleport and click on Teleport button
